People Love Poppie & Friends!

Bought this book for my nephew for Christmas this year, who incidentally had a pug with one eye (what are the chances?). These are great books. They’re age appropriate, and they always communicate a good message while sticking to the story. This is the third one I’ve bought, and I am planning on buying them all. Please write more Sharron, I’ll buy them!

I cried beyond belief when reading this because I have a pug at home who we rescued with only one eye. The story I knew would be happy in the end, but I could not help but think of my pug in the same way before we got him. This book is just amazing to read whether you are a kid or adult it will touch your heart.

I highly recommend this.

My son loves this book, it’s his favorite and we read it almost every night.

He really wanted to know that everything turned out ok for Poppie in the end and it did! We talked about being different and being kind to others. The story really gets you involved with Poppie from the very first page. We love the illustrations too and can’t wait to hear more about Poppie’s adventures!t nisi, eu mattis odio.”

Melody & My Son

My husband and I do pet therapy and this is going to go in our “bring with us” box. We have a pug (who has both eyes) but I like the angle of the story where Poppie realizes there’s nothing wrong … it just takes that special person to appreciate her!!! That’s a difficult lesson for sick children – this would be a great conversation starter for a child in order to talk about people with disabilities.
